[SOLD]This quilt is made with french linen. Hand-quilted with cotton thread and one by one to make the wings look three-dimensional. Hand dyed with cochineal and chinese sumac on the surface, and tingi (A kind of bark of mangrove) on the back. Cochineal has long been used as a dye in Central and South America, and it can be seen from the excavated products of the Mayan and Aztec civilizations. The bird part is dyed many times to achieve the ideal red color. And it is decorated with embroidery.
素材は上質なフレンチリネン。 ハンドキルトはコットン糸を使用し羽根部分も立体的に見せるため１枚１枚ハンドキルト。 天然染料は表面鳥部分にコチニール、その周りは五倍子を使用。裏面にティンギ（マングローブの一種の樹皮)を使用。 コチニールは中南米で古くから染料として使われ、マヤ文明、アステカ文明の発掘品からコチニールで染めたものが見られる。 鳥部分は理想の赤色にするため何度も染色。 表面に刺繍の装飾。
