This is a very old Japanese black drawer storage.
The furniture is from the Meiji period (1860s-1900s).
It is probably from the Tohoku region of Japan.
The material is mainly cedar wood.
The handle is made of iron.
The lock is usable.
The design is simple and there is no waste.
This is a very beautiful piece of furniture with a rustic feel that is unique to Japan.
All drawers open and close smoothly.
All have been washed and disinfected.
You can use it with confidence.

This product gives you a sense of the spirit of wabi-sabi, a Japanese philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection and impermanence.

The opposite of vulgarity, it is a modest and unassuming beauty, an unconventional beauty.

This is a very rare, one-of-a-kind item.

[*Bonsai is not included.]

Since ancient times, people have made and passed down the tools they needed from familiar materials to survive in the harsh battle with nature, and have developed a lifestyle and culture.

The longer they are used, the more flavor they acquire, and the more they reflect our lifestyles.

The harsher the natural environment and the weaker the humans are, the stronger their power becomes.

In today's world, where cheap and disposable goods are encouraged, the act of repeatedly modifying and remaking the things around us opens up new worlds.

With this in mind, we carefully select and collect beautiful, strong, and unique Japanese antiques.
